At Future Local, we know exactly what’s required to develop and deliver a successful LGR bid because, in short, we’ve been there and done it. Simply submitting a bid should be seen as the beginning not the end of the process.
It is critical that any bid stands out from others with a bold vision for an area but also provides an overwhelming case on why the government should support it. This is the opportunity to set the direction of travel, making the case over what structures, powers, geographical areas and support are needed. Any successful bid will need to:
